Bangkok (TH)
Charmgang opened in 2019 in Talat Noi, the old riverside quarter off Charoen Krung Road, as a contemporary version of the raan khao gaeng, the classic curry and rice shop. It is run by chefs Geravich "Mew" Mesaengnilverakul, Atcharapon "Aew" Kiatthanawat and Aruss "Jai" Lerlerstkull, all of whom worked with David Thompson.
The room is dark and red-lit, with a young crowd and cocktails, but the curries and relishes stay true to Thai flavour while playing with local ingredients and texture. It earned Bib Gourmands in 2024 and 2025 and is listed as Michelin Selected in the 2026 guide.
