Restaurants

Thailand's restaurants range from family-run curry houses that have barely changed in fifty years to tasting-menu dining rooms with Michelin stars. This collection brings together the ones worth planning a trip around, in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Hat Yai, Khon Kaen and beyond.

Each page explains what the restaurant is known for, what to order, how busy it gets and whether you need to book, along with the address, a map, opening hours where they could be confirmed and a price level from one to four baht signs.

Michelin awards change every year, so the pages describe each restaurant's current status in the latest guide and mark older awards as former ones. Opening hours and prices are checked when a page is written, but they do change: confirm before you go.
